Chicago-headquartered insurance brokerage and financial services firm Hub International Limited has acquired the assets of True North Group Insurance Services, LLC, a Michigan-based independent insurance agency with expertise in commercial insurance and employee benefits.
The deal, financial terms of which were not disclosed, will see True North Group incorporated into Hub’s Midwest East operations under the name True North Group Insurance Services, LLC, a Hub International company.
Hub has consistently pursued growth both organically and through acquisitions. Its recent swoops include Cargill Insurance in Massachusetts and Merriwether & Williams in California. All three transactions were announced this month.
Manned by more than 17,000 people across Hub offices throughout North America, the group specializes in risk management, insurance, employee benefits, retirement, and wealth management products and services.
